Interior diagramming is often confused with architectural diagramming, in that both concern with circulation and functionality of space. Perhaps we should not bother to separate the two, since the two disciplines do overlap each other in numerous ways. However, there are issues of particular interest for the interior that we need to discuss, for example the relationship of the body and the surrounding environment, or the decorations of the interior and the adornent of the body. While architecture tends to generalize human behaviors in order to work our solutions for different architectural typolgoies, interior design concerns the particular users and their identities.
